If you want to add items to your account without adding them to your shopping list, then do not download the latest update.

Clearly "one more adjustment" is just their way of trying to hide all the bad reviews of the recent updates. How sad. Dont be fooled - the app is just as useless as ever. Until there is a genuine attempt to fix things, avoid this app at all costs!

Please keep the list and the coupons separate.

System crashing, 7 tries to open online adverts, gave up. Its sickening that corporate takeover by Albertsons done with no improvements on any aspect of service. Shopping elsewhere and LOVING it!

Unlike the other complaints I dont care about the grocery list. I use AnyList for that. I then add every coupon in my Safeway app. It eliminates the possibility that I missed one. What I do hate is the new scan your coupon feature. Isnt using their app supposed to get us around the coupon issue? I can never get the coupon scanner to work. My son has also reported the same problem and has decided to shop elsewhere. I have no problem with other scanners.

Dont bother downloading. Worthless app

I love this app! I didnt realize how much more I could save and additional savings for gas rewards. Ive had receipts show me saving up to $50 extra in a visit. Of course that was off of what would have been a $200 bill, but I would have spent that $200 if I didnt have the app. Anyway, there a definitely savings on top of coupons, newspaper ads and in-store advertised sales. One quip I do have is the separation between Just for U and the other "savings" listed in the app. Theres a lot of back and forth digging. Im very happy overall!

The app has gotten better and better. Although I dont like that when it says to add to your card it actually adds to your list and you end up with 300 items on your list. That is very annoying. Fix that and Ill give you a five.

Have you given any thought to allowing the scanner to keep a running tab of how much $$$ is in the cart? Would be brilliant! In general I like the app. It can be a little clunky to navigate at times. What I would like to see is a scanner. A barcode scanner that would allow you to scan items as you put them in your cart so you can have a running total of your bill. This would be amazing!! Even a list price total without discount if thats easier to write. Just something to give me a general idea of what Im spending so far so maybe I can throw that splurge/impulse item in my cart too.

The updates didnt resolve what we complained about; it didnt even address it! The option to put an item on your card, but not the list is completely gone. The list is rendered useless this way. If the next update doesnt put it back Im deleting the app. I need a real working list!!! As stated, and even to their Feedback, its no longer worth keeping on my iPhone. Previously Reviewed: Im using the 4.7.2 version on my iPad to make my list for my iPhone where I made the mistake of updating to 4.8. Like everyone else said the Add preferences are gone making my list useless. I warned them about this before- updates switched it to Add All To My List and Id have 300+ items to delete and then start over building my list. If they dont fix this Ill delete the app on my phone and use a different app with my family. The app as a list was necessary, now Im considering shopping next door.

I have been using this app for years now, and I dont know how I could shop without it. I hope they separate the add to card and add to list options, but other than that, it makes it easy to find prices. I have used the scanner and search tools at other stores in order to see if Safeway has the better price! The app also notifies me when I have a freebie or drastic discount available in the just for u section, so I dont miss them!

Multiple updates and still no attention paid to near-unanimous customer demands to fix the FUBAR shopping list feature.

Tried installing and reinstalling several times but all does not work. Says no offers available when I clearly see advertisements in store about lots of promotions available on app.

The "active offers on my card" feature was the only one I used in this bloated app. Now I spend half my shopping trip trying scroll and find what offers I activated and want. It takes forever and my Safeway barely has cell service.

This is the most useful, money saving app I have. I love it!

The previous update introduced some bugs in the app so I was excited to update to the latest version hoping the bugs would be fixed. Sadly discovered that the latest version actually is worse because now I cant find how many gas rewards I have and when they expire! This feature was the major reason that I put up with this poor quality app, now its been removed, this app becomes truly useless.

With the Add to Account feature now missing, what use is this now that EVERYTHING goes straight to your list? I have no use whatsoever for a huge unweildy 600+ item list when I shop, I need a short list of the actual items I WANT and not everything in the entire store! So frustrating!!! Quit dumbing down the app and give us back its #1 best feature: the ablilty to Add to Account OR Add to List at our own discretion. I hate this "upgrade" to what was formerly an everyday app on my phones first page; if Id been warned I would have never downloaded it. =(

This app is by far the best grocery app Ive used. I love the coupon function and how it instantly uploads deals I select to my card. Also the scanning function has been my favorite!
