I absolutely love this app, it has far more features than the King Soopers coupon app does. The only request I would have is a filter to only show the coupons that are not yet added to your card.
Anyone who finds it difficult or not user friendly are probably the same people who have issues with self-checkout. This app is great. Maybe the dolts who have a hard time here should try Safeway home delivery.
Love this app. Love the personal deals. I use it every time I shop. Each Wednesday Im excited to open my app and check out my new personal deals!
The store at silver bell and Grant is the best store I only go in because of Jenny, Antionette, Anjelica, Kayla those girls really work hard they deserve a raise they put up with a lot and all the dept are fab also would like to see mang out more on the check stand, it makes shopping there so much better when all employees are there bosses included, great team work silverbell & grant store 10,10, 10

"Sort by aisle" is incredibly useful.
I love this app! I didnt realize how much more I could save and additional savings for gas rewards. Ive had receipts show me saving up to $50 extra in a visit. Of course that was off of what would have been a $200 bill, but I would have spent that $200 if I didnt have the app. Anyway, there a definitely savings on top of coupons, newspaper ads and in-store advertised sales. One quip I do have is the separation between Just for U and the other "savings" listed in the app. Theres a lot of back and forth digging.

Some bad moments
As others have said the change they made to the app has made it HUGELY annoying. I can no longer use it for my grocery list. It went from a four star to a zero star app overnight!
Congratulations Safeway on more one star reviews! Its actually amazing that you dont care about the main problem your customers are complaining about. Separate list and card again! With Thanksgiving coming up, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I need to have a shopping list I can add my own items to without having to hunt through the useless items I was forced to add when I should just be able to add them to my card. I dont have time for that and it sounds like a lot of other people dont either.
Previous app was fantastic and I want it back. Latest update changed how you "add" and everything is larger. Looks like a teenager made the latest version and didnt want to ask for help. Bring back the old version!
Seems that in addition to the forced combination of the list and card, all of the previous deals I had loaded have also disappeared. Lets trash-can the last couple of updates and revert to what works.
Scan bar code function is now broken. When I was scan an item, it gives OFFERS for an item, it doesnt simply add the item I scanned to the list (which would then allow me to edit the number of the item I need).
This should be a a shopping app first, and provide offers second.
All "report a provlem" on THIS page takes to me the Safeway Home prage -- not a page for reporting problems. They dont care about problems?
My card/offers needs to come back...if you dont take advice from the reviews you are the densest devs on the planet.
